Pictures from the event
On Tuesday, February 27 th, 2007 the Kiwanis Club of Greater Parsippany (KCGP) held its annual K-Family Night at the main branch of the Parsippany library. The purpose of the event is to bring together the different youth organizations that the KCGP sponsors for an evening of sharing and socializing. The KCGP currently sponsors two Key Clubs, two Builders Clubs and five K-Kids Clubs within the Parsippany School District.
The schools that were represented at this event included; the Parsippany High School Key Club, the Parsippany Hills High School Key Club, the Central Middle School Builders Club, the Eastlake Elementary School K-Kids Club, the Lake Hiawatha Elementary School K-Kids Club, and the Mount Tabor Elementary School K-Kids Club.
The Clubs all brought with them their Club Banners, scrapbooks and pictures which documented their activities over the past service year. Each Club gave a presentation explaining what their Club had accomplished. The students were accompanied by the faculty advisors for their Clubs. In addition to the students and faculty advisors the event was also attended by parents, relatives and friends of the students. Representatives of the Board of Education, Parsippany School Administration and members of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Parsippany were also in attendance. In total close to 150 people attended the event. Refreshments were served after the program and the attendees were able to socialize with the students and review their Clubs displays.
